Baseball Camps

Baseball camps run from 9 a.m. – 12:00 noon or 2-5 p.m. and are for boys and girls ages 5 - 12.

Camp will start each day with specific skill work and end with a game.  The skill sets we will focus on are throwing, catching, fielding ground balls and fly balls, pitching, hitting and base running.

All baseball camps are run by Carter Ayers and Reagan Buckley.  All baseball camps are held at Post Oak Little League, which is located on the campus of TH Rogers Middle School. Drop off and pick up will be at the major/minor fields of Post Oak Little League, located near the intersection of San Felipe and Bering.

Baseball Camps will be held at Post Oak Little League and is for players ages 5-12. We will rotate through hitting and fielding stations and play a game. Our camper to coach ratio will be 6:1.

Carter Ayers

Carter played high school baseball in Houston at Lamar. He was an all-state shortstop his senior year, finishing second in the city with a .478 batting average. His first two years of College were at Alvin Community College, where he was a sophomore pre-season All-American. He played on the #1 nationally ranked 1997 Texas Tech team his junior year and finished his senior year at Sam Houston State, graduating with a bachelor of science in kinesiology.

Carter coached the Columbia Angels 18 and under select baseball team for seven years out of college. During these seven years, his team won two national AAU titles. Current major leaguers he has coached are Josh Beckett, Jeff Niemann and Garrett Mock.

Carter was the youth activities coordinator at The Houstonian from 1999-2007. His duties included running and organizing the summer sports camps, weekly sports classes, basketball leagues and private lessons. Currently, Carter gives private baseball lessons, runs the after school sports program at The Fay School and organizes and runs sports birthday parties and summer baseball and sports camps.

Reagan Buckley

Reagan was a 2 sport athlete at Lamar high school, where he received all-state honors as a quarterback and was a 3 year all-district pick in baseball. He received a baseball scholarship to San Jacinto and after 2 years transferred to The University of Texas and eventually Houston Baptist University where he received All-American honors in 1996. Following that season he was invited to participate in the Olympic baseball trials for Team USA. After college Reagan played 8 1/2 years of professional baseball, in which he was recognized as a Northern League All-Star in 1998 and 2001.

In 1999 Reagan returned to Houston Baptist, while re-habing and injury, to become the team's hitting coach. HBU set team records in batting average, home runs, RBI, and slugging percentage which still stand today.

Reagan gives baseball lessons at Post Oak Little League and has been there since 2000. Along with baseball lessons he also does strength and speed training.
